Representatives from meteorological societies from all five continents and of international societies related to meteorology ttended the Global Meeting One (GM1) of the International Forum of Meteorological Societies (IFMS), that convened 19–20 January 2010 in Atlanta, USA, on invitation of the American Meteorological Society.
