Session on presentation skills

Dear Friends,

I wonder if it would be a good idea to have an early EMS session on communication within the community (e.g. how to best make a presentation in a conference, best practice for designing the slides and how to talk, how to best write scientific articles) and outside the community (how to write articles for the media, etc.). EMS already has had some presentation on the latter, but it may be beneficial to review the best practice and to inspire good PowerPoint presentations at this and coming conferences. This may in the long run make the conferences more interesting to attend. Often, presentation skills are not taught formally, but left to the invividual student/scientist to tackle on their own. I think that one can always try to improve on these issues.
